UBC Faculty can authorize library access to people they are working with through a Faculty Authorization library account. A Faculty Authorization library account provides full access to online resources as well as a card to borrow physical items. Faculty Authorization accounts must be renewed yearly, and require the signature and contact information of the authorizing Faculty member.
