FAQ Question content

Data Management Plan (DMP) is a document outlining how you will organize, store, back up, and share your research data throughout your project. DMPs are an international best practice and increasingly required by funders, including the Tri-Agencies. UBC supports the following resource to help you write a DMP:

  • DMP Assistant: a national, purpose-built tool with UBC-specific guidance and templates for both pre-award and post-award plans.

Visit the Research Data Management website or contact research.data@ubc.ca to request a data management consultation with UBC Library.
