UBC Library offers many services to Alumni, though the most common question is how Alumni can access library collections.
- Remote access to most UBC Library’s electronic resources is restricted by license agreement to current UBC students, faculty and staff. View a list of resources that have been licensed for UBC Alumni with remote access. A CWL login is required for remote access; follow these instructions if you are an alumni without a CWL.
- UBC alumni who are able to visit campus can access additional licensed resources from one of the library’s public computers by using a guest OpenAthens login. You can obtain a guest OpenAthens login in person at a library service desk; it will only provide access within a UBC Library location.
- To borrow physical items, activate your Alumni library barcode through the UBC Alumni app: View full instructions
